 | | Chinese Irish Cultural Academy is an organization founded in 2004 by a group of enthusiastic artists and educators from the Chinese Community in Ireland.The mission of the organization is to preserve and promote Chinese performing arts and culture in a newly emerging and changing Irish culture; preserve the Chinese performing arts and traditions of the past and blend them with the present and the future; and ensure that the Chinese communities retain their unique individual identification with their rich culture and past.
The Academy is dedicated to training students who enjoy Chinese classical and folk dance. The Academy performance group is made up of advance students and guest professional artists. The dance group performs traditional Chinese dances in both Chinese and Irish communities for the purpose of cultural exchange. So far, the group has performed at China-town Festival (Museum of History Collins Barrack), The Fund –raising for Tsunami Appeal in Arnotts Dublin 1 , the Wren Boy Music Festival in Sandymount, the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin Castle, St. Patrick’s Day of Co. Kildare, Performance in Citizen Information Centre in Bray and the Celebration Party of Irish Traditional Music Association (Craobh Chualann, Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann). | All programs functions on
semester system except the Summer Workshop. Currently
we run our dancing classes in 46 Parnell Square
Dublin 1. Classes are 2 hours long provided in most
disciplines and knowledge about Chinese culture
and dance. We not only offer basic dance techniques
to build up students a good foundation, and also
offer different Chinese folk dances from Ribbon
Dance to Peacock Dance, which represent different
ethnic groups of Ancient China.
All classes are provided by our highly professional
teachers from recognized organization in China and
to ensure the standards.

Student applicants are enrolled
on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strongly advise
students to apply early as enrollment is limited.
Registration of our new term will be on 13th Sep (Sun)t
at 10:30pm in 46 Parnell Square Dublin 1. Alternatively,
